The Limits Of My Language Are The Limits Of My World - Ludwig Wittgenstein

Language is something that has always truly intrigued me with both its complexity and versatility. The evolution of language throughout the history of humanity has allowed us to transfer knowledge from one generation to the next, whether it be transferred orally or written, language has helped humanity grow and prosper to reach the levels of today. Language is far more powerful than we often perceive it to be. Language can start wars, educate people, ignite creativity, make people feel a variety of emotions, etc. Some people have the ability to say so much with so few words which is why we quote people on a daily basis. Below you'll find some of my favorite quotes from people I admire. If you have any quotes you'd like to share you can find my contact info in the sidebar.
